W2SO IN THE PARK

Hi guys, A lot of you have been asking to have an outing with the club at a  local park.

The 1st outing is planned for July 17th, 2011 a Chestnut Ridge Park / Shelter #32  / at  2 PM

During the outing we'll be doing some APRS, GPS, Orienteering and Fox Hunting for those who like to indulge in those activities.

As for those of you who don't, well you can bring your portable radio gear or anything else you like to play with out in the field and give that a whirl.  At the very least, just bring yourself and sit around and watch the rest of us and help keep us company. 

At the moment that is all, just a Meet N' Play at the park. If some of you want to organize it into something more, then by all means do so. We have the shelter reserved, what we do with it is up to us and our imagination.
