March 1987 - Club was formed by Luke Calianno N2GDU, Dick Haungs W2UJR, Lou Esposito N2SFZ , Matt Gorski NS2M & Al Petry KE2AJ

March of 1987   First meeting  20 local hams attended.

Original meeting site was at the Lancaster School Bldg. on Central Ave.  We moved to our present location ( Aurora St. Middle School ) the following year.

Our first hamfest ( Ham Radio show) was in 1988   held at Joseph Manor. As the Hamfest grew each year we  were forced to change sites to Elks Club, then Darien Center Fire Hall to The Hearthstone Manor and currently the Leonard Post.

Winter hamfest was added  in 1998 at the    Leonard VFW Post.

The 2 Meter Repeater was first at Dick W2UJR's QTH, eventually moved to present location on Pavement Rd.

Club House...  About 1988 the first club house  location was at the Lancaster Boys Club on Broadway.  A small room was used for a short period of time. We decided to leave this location because of the lack of room and capabilities of installing an antenna system.

In 1994, the newly elected Lancaster Supervisor Lucian Greco agreed to let our club use a building at the town center on pavement Rd. The following year we were leased a better building on Pavement Rd, which is now our present location.

Western New York ARRL Section Convention... 2001  Granted sponsorship of the WNY Section Convention. Held August 5, 2001 at the Main Transit Fireman's Grounds
